Hello, I’m Bishal Giri - a Brisbane-based IT professional with a Master's in Information Technology and a Bachelor's in Software Engineering. I’m passionate about solving real-world problems using technology, whether it’s through intelligent software development, system support, or smart automation. Technical Skillset

I bring a strong foundation in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations, complemented by hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, and data-driven development. My skillset spans systems administration, networking, security practices, and automation, with practical exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, PowerShell, and cloud platforms. I also leverage Python and leading ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn to build and deploy intelligent solutions.

In my professional role, I focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and integrated IT systems and business applications. I have hands-on experience managing enterprise platforms such as Microsoft OneDrive, Intune, and endpoint security solutions, while leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency. My development background includes implementing web-based solutions and user interfaces with modern front-end technologies, supporting seamless end-to-end functionality.

Projects & Experience

I have delivered a wide range of academic and professional projects across AI, ML, and system engineering. These include intelligent applications such as a Dog Breed Detection model using CNNs, a Heart Disease Prediction system built on health data, and Health Hub , a full-stack platform for healthcare appointment booking and community engagement. On the systems side, I contribute to enterprise IT operations, supporting security engineers, troubleshooting infrastructure, deploying updates, and ensuring smooth business workflows.

My long-term goal is to continue building expertise at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems, creating solutions that are both technically sound and business impactful.

During my time as a Data Research Intern, I analyzed Queensland tourism data using Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib to generate insights that supported local planning strategies.

Career Goal

Work with a forward-thinking team where I can learn, contribute, and grow through real-world challenges in software development or IT systems. I have a strong interest in network support and security, and I’m actively building skills in those areas alongside my development work. My long-term goal is to become one of the world’s leading IT expert, building innovative solutions that create real impact. I’m especially inspired by the potential of Automation, System Security,Cloud engineering and use of AI in building systems, and solve meaningful problems.

Social Impact

Giving back to the community is a core part of who I am. I regularly help elderly individuals with patience and care from setting up devices to solving everyday tech issues simply to make their lives a little easier. I initiated the setup of a nonprofit NGO in Nepal called Enlighten Global, focused on supporting elderly and disabled people in rural areas through digital help and care coordination. While my parents now manage the organization, I remain committed to its mission and plan to establish a similar NGO in Australia in the future.

I also actively support organization like children’s cancer research, contribute to GoFundMe campaigns for people in hardship, and regularly donate blood. These efforts bring me genuine happiness and a sense of purpose.

I love travelling, singing, and being in nature. These moments give me clarity, creativity, and peace.
