Hello, I’m Bishal Giri, a Brisbane-based Systems Engineer and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner with a background in software engineering and IT systems. I work in an MSP environment supporting enterprise platforms and building reliable, secure cloud solutions.
Outside of work, I serve as Vice President of Motherland Nepal, I personally manage the organization’s website and cloud platforms. I care deeply about helping people beyond the workplace, supporting communities and solving real problems. I see myself as a blend of technical expertise and a kind heart.
Technical Skillset
I build and support secure, reliable cloud and enterprise environments, combining strong MSP operations experience with hands-on cloud delivery. My core strengths include cloud fundamentals (AWS and Azure), networking and identity, infrastructure troubleshooting, and security-focused administration across production client environments.
I have experience designing and deploying cloud workloads using virtual networking, compute, load balancing, and access control, and I am currently building capability in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to make deployments repeatable, auditable, and consistent. In parallel, I bring practical capability in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, with a strong focus on documentation, change discipline, and client-facing delivery.
Projects & Experience
My recent focus is building real-world cloud solutions end to end, from designing a deployment approach to validating reliability and cost-awareness. I have delivered a high availability website deployment on AWS using core building blocks such as virtual networking, compute, and application load balancing, and I am actively translating these deployments into Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Professionally, I support enterprise clients within an MSP environment across identity, endpoint, and security operations, assisting with access management, device compliance, and incident-style troubleshooting. I also maintain a background interest in software development and data-driven problem solving, which supports my approach to automation and operational improvement.
Career Goal
Grow as a cloud engineer by contributing to the design, deployment, and improvement of secure cloud platforms for real clients, while strengthening skills in Infrastructure as Code, automation, monitoring, and cloud security. My focus is on building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and business-aligned.
Social Impact
Giving back to the community is a core part of who I am. I regularly support elderly individuals with patience and care, from setting up devices to resolving everyday technology challenges, helping make their lives a little easier and more connected.
I serve as Vice President of Motherland Nepal, a non-profit organization focused on supporting elderly and disabled people, particularly in rural communities. I manage the organization’s website, cloud infrastructure, and digital platforms, ensuring reliable, secure, and cost-conscious operations. Through this role, I contribute both leadership and technical capability to help amplify social impact through technology.
I also actively support causes such as children’s cancer research, contribute to community fundraising initiatives, and regularly donate blood. These efforts reflect my belief that consistent, quiet contributions can make a meaningful difference.
Hobbies
I enjoy travelling, singing, and spending time in nature. These activities help me stay grounded, creative, and focused.
Family, respect, honesty, ambition, and ideas guide how I live and work, and how I strive to create positive impact.
